Join the fun as we celebrate 3 years of Tasty Dawg with a Golden Girls twist. Each week in the month of August we’re shining the spotlight on a special dawg inspired by our favorite sassy ladies!
The Brooklyn Dawg kicks off our celebration as Dorothy takes a trip back to her favorite New York borough for our jumbo all-beef hotdog smothered in sauerkraut, brown mustard, and our very own homemade New York-style onion sauce. Does this featured dawg have too much of a bite for you? Take your pick from our range of signature hot dogs or go wild creating your own with over 20 toppings. Prefer your dog plain and simple? Meet the Stan, just a regular ole wiener!
In honor of Dorothy’s saucy mother Sophia we created the Sicily Dawg featuring our jumbo Italian sausage loaded with flavor. Topped with marinara sauce, pepperoni, a ricotta and provolone blend of cheeses, and finished with Italian seasonings that will transport you to the Sicilian shores!
We wanted to create a hot dog worthy of the southern diva Blanche Devereaux and believe our veggie-filled Green Goddess Dawg is the belle of the ball. Tomatoes, avocado mash, diced onions, mixed greens and a homemade green goddess dressing all served in our steamed Bavarian pretzel bun make for a dramatic and tasty dawg!
And finally, for Rose (our favorite golden gal!) we present the fun and sweet Big Banana Dessert Dawg! A brioche bun smothered with our homemade honey peanut butter spread, banana, strawberry jam, crushed salted peanuts, and a slice of kiwi. This one is sure to make you smile just like our forever Miss St. Olaf!
